Plans are being made for an exciting three day event to celebrate our 45th class reunion.

Friday evening September 24 --William Chrisman Homecoming football game at the Norm James Stadium. Make plans to meet your friends for the beginning of a winning evening. Time: 7:00 p.m.

Also on Friday evening September 24 will be a picnic by campfire at Marilyn (Lewis) Holsworth's at 18315 E. Kentucky Rd., Independence, MO 64058. Phone: (816) 796-8995. Bring a covered dish to share and your lawn chairs; meat, drinks and table service will be provided. No charge. Time: 6:00 p.m. to whenever.

Saturday, September 25--Co-ed Golf Tournament at Rock Creek Country Club at 2400 S. Maywood Avenue. Arrangements are being made by Dan McLaughlin. He can be reached at http://www.williamchrismanhighshool.com/classes/1965/classmate_golf_submittal_form.shtml Time: 9:00 a.m.

Saturday afternoon, September 25--Tours at 3:00 p.m. for Chrisman and 4:30 p.m. at Truman High School. Meet at the schools for a facilities tour.

Saturday evening, September 25 is our main reunion event: PRIVATE PARTY, Randy Halsey's Shoppe, R.D. Mize and Jackson Dr. (old Independence Airport). Formal address is 3020 S. Jackson Drive, Independence 64057. Casual dress or retro attire. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Buffet line opens at 7:00 p.m. Program begins at 8:15 p.m. DJ and dancing begins at 9:30 p.m. Cost is $35 per person or $70 per couple. NO SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNTS--CAN'T CASH SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS! BYOB.

Sunday, September 26--Family picnic at George Owens Nature Park from noon to 4:00 p.m. Meat, drinks and table service will be provided; please bring a covered dish. No charge.
